Pirelli has revealed its tyre compound choices for the three upcoming grands prix in Turkey, Spain and Monaco.
The Italian manufacturer will nominate the hard and soft tyres as 'prime' and 'option' respectively for Turkey and Spain, while the soft and the supersoft compounds will be used in Monaco.
The supersoft, denoted by red markings, will be making its grand prix debut that weekend.
"We've considered carefully all the circuit characteristics in order to help provide races as exciting as all the grands prix we have seen so far this year," said Pirelli's Paul Hembery. "We're very much looking forward to Monaco in particular, where we will see the supersoft tyre in action for the first time. It's quite a different tyre to the rest of the range and should be very effective around the streets of Monte Carlo."
