Malaysia 2011 Reminder

Hello all F1 Fans!!!!!

The F1 circus is in Malaysia at Sepang this weekend for the 2nd round of the season.

And the weather doesn't look all that great. This will be a tricky pole to guess as last year pole time was set on a wet/drying track so I've included the 2009 pole time. Also worth a mention is the time of Free Practice 3 last year which was set by Mark Webber was 1:33.542

Now, last years pole time was also set by Mark Webber with a time of 1:46.327. 1:35.181 was the pole time in 2009.

Various sites are reporting there may be rain and thunderstorms all weekend!!!

TV times are as follows:

Friday 8 April
First practice: 0255-0435, BBC Red Button/online
Second practice: 0655-0835, BBC Red Button/online

Saturday 9 April
Third practice: 0555-07:05, BBC Red Button/BBC Radio 5 live sports extra/online
Qualifying: 0800-1030, BBC One/BBC Radio 5 live/online
Qualifying repeat: 1300-1415, BBC One

Sunday 10 April
Grand Prix live: 0800-1115, BBC One/BBC Radio 5 live/online
F1 forum: 1115-1215, BBC Red Button/online
Grand Prix repeat: 1300-1500, BBC One
Highlights: 1900-2000 and 0230-0330, BBC Three

All entries will be accepted up to the start of the qualifying session which takes place on Saturday afternoon, (local time). All entries will need to have been posted on this message board (edited entries are fine as long as edited before the start of qualis) or RECEIVED in the [e-mail]
email account before the start of the qualifying session, so please make sure that you send the email in plenty of time. All late entries will be declared null and void.

Fizzy, is that a bit harsh, 9am, is that the start, there could have been seconds before the start! But if that's the rules then thats the rules! Sorry themagicwand ;-(

6. Entries must be RECEIVED in the designated email account/on the message board before the start of qualifying on Saturday afternoon (local time). All late entries will be disqualified. Proof of sending is not proof of delivery.

Yep, I feel it is bit harsh too, but it's up to each individual person to make sure they get that time posted within the time limits, not up to me to make allowances as that could open a right can of worms!
