Timo Glock completed the fastest lap in Bahrain on Tuesday. The German set his fastest time with the TF109 at 1,33,501 and ended ahead of Felipe Massa and Robert Kubica in the time sheets.
While the Formula 1 teams testing in Jerez saw their day being interrupted with rain the four-day test in Bahrain was delayed by nearly two hours due to poor visibility. Once the fog went away though the sun came out and the teams of Ferrari, Toyota and BMW could start their day of testing.
At the end of the day Robert Kubica was satisfied with his day of testing. "It was the first time I was able to drive the new car in warm weather. We learned a lot about the car's behaviour in these conditions, so overall it was a good day."
