Wow, what a weekend of racing and non-racing. Only just getting my breath back.
Total carnage to start with! Was it bad production that we didn't see it all happen?
Great drive by Vettel, JB and Schumi.
It's all to race for.

What did you miss? I'm guessing you had the same Fuji feed as we do over here.
One of the Virgins lost it on the formation lap...very unusual but may have had a mechanical failure.
At the start Petrov got a bit anxious and cut over with out looking in his mirrors.
Then again, Massa was trying to grab too many places on the start and hit the grass. He lost it re entering turn one and hit one of the Force India cars. 5 cars down by turn one...told ya that is an exciting corner!
I was suprised to see Kuby lose a rear wheel under SC...must be frustrating; now 6 cars out.
While the Mercedes boys later had a good tight challenge a bigger suprise was Nico losing another rear wheel since it had been a while since his last pit stop.
Hammy was frustrated on the radio when 3rd gear went out on his new transmission. He wisely didn't fight Button after the hairpin and let him through...he had to.
The end was now kinda predictable with RB 1-2 followed by Alonso after Button changed tires later in the run.

Oh, I forgot Kobi Kobiyashi from Sauber...he was fighting as hard as he could with many daring and some over the top moves. His car was pretty banged up at the end, and was flapping in the breeze, but he was in the points. The local Japanese crowd ate that up!

We did see it eventually, but even the commentators didn't know what was going on at the time.
