Former Ferrari engineer Nigel Stepney, who was at the centre of the "Spygate" scandal, has been sentenced according to the Italian team. Stepney was sentenced to a year and eight months in prison and a £500 fine, though under Italy's legal system he is highly unlikely to serve time. In 2007 Stepney was accused of passing Ferrari data to rival team McLaren, who were fined £50m by the FIA, news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/formula_one/9045983.stm
