Not a fan of Singapore, but I have to admit that they gave us one great race today. Well done Alonso, my Ferrari are back, and what a drive by Vettel. I didn't know if I secretly wanted him to take Alonso Thought Button should have pushed harded to get past Webber, may be he was, but he's missed a great moment to take him up the leader board. Kovi putting out that fire had my heart in my mouth. As did Bruno and Kobayashi's coming together. I don't think I've ever seen Alonso with such a big smile that he had on the podium, not even when he won his world championships. Ferrari are back ............... ;D - but Webber has pulled out a gap. 1 Mark Webber Aus Red Bull-Renault 202 2 Fernando Alonso Spa Ferrari 191 3 Lewis Hamilton GB McLaren-Mercedes 182 4 Sebastian Vettel Ger Red Bull-Renault 181 5 Jenson Button GB McLaren-Mercedes 177

yes a very good race, very disapointed that Hamilton went out, though Webber was at fault myself.

Was pretty good eh Susie Yeah, shocking but good move from Kovy putting out the fire on his own car (part time fire marshall) Pleased for Marky-boy, imo he deserves the wdc! Shame for Lewis retiring in the tackle with Mark. Jenson didn't do too bad either, but not great - but overall a strong race, right from lights to flag, from Senor Alonso

It is! It is so hard to predict who could win, it could be any of the 5. Bit worrying about Korea though, do we have 4 or 3 races left? With it being so close I hope of Korea is called off we get another race somewhere else, as it would be a shame if that one extra point made the difference.

What is it with drivers when their car is on fire, that makes them calmly pull over, slowly undo their harness and climb out of the car - then Kovi goes to get an extinguisher and puts the fire out himself?!?!?!
I would barely give the car time to stop before I bailed out with no dignity in tact and shamelessly sprint down the track screaming

Williams’ Nico Hulkenberg has had 20s added to his Singapore race time for leaving the track and gaining an advantage on lap one.
After receiving Sutil’s penalty, which dropped him from eighth to tenth in the results, Force India protested, claiming that Hulkenberg had committed the same offence. After hearing evidence from Hulkenberg and Force India’s Vitantonio Liuzzi, the stewards agreed and also penalised the German, dropping him to tenth place. He originally crossed the line in ninth.
Sutil now moves up to ninth, having originally fallen to tenth following his penalty. Ferrari's Felipe Massa, who was tenth at the flag, moves up to eighth.
Extra points for Massa is a good result for me ;-)
