Don't wish to be pedantic but most of the positions on the leaderboard are wrong!
If you have 2 people tying for say, 1st place then the next person is 3rd not 2nd. So Ted is actually 3rd and Susie 4th= with Fizzy then F1bairn 6th and so on....
There are 17 people on the table with yours trully languishing in 16th not 12th!!
David
PS Good luck to all this weekend. Lewis for pole....

If you have 2 people tying for any place on the same amount of points, then they are regarded as equal. They scored the same no of points, so of course, they are standing on the top step of the virtual podium. The next step of the virtual podium is 2nd place.
So therefore the next person is one place below and is awarded the next numerical digit.
But I do see the logic of what you say Dave and the Leaderboard could be done that way.
That's the way my mind works..lol

Hi Fizzy I see how you're thinking but if you look at any other lists/tables like this, you'll see that they are done the way I said. Another way of looking at it is that if there are 16 people ahead of me then I must be 17th! 12th flatters my dreadful showing this season!!! Age must be taking its toll on my guesses!
