:DWell the weather forecast at Monaco is heavy rain through to Saturday! Just what the doctor ordered (oh sorry wrong sport - well I like MOTO GP too) Should make it a little more exciting me thinks.

Alonso quickest in both P1 & 2. No rain as predicted which is good for now, but think it's the only thing to liven up quali and race.

P3 Renault's Robert Kubica clocked the fastest time of final practice for the Monaco Grand Prix in a session that saw Ferrari's Fernando Alonso crash out Kubica's effort of one minute 14.806 was just 0.046secs clear of Ferrari's Felipe Massa who was second fastest. I am starting to believe Renault are a dark horse ready to take centre stage. The Red Bulls of Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel were third and fifth separated by McLaren's Lewis Hamilton. Alonso hit the barriers at Massenet and Ferrari face a race against time to fix his car for qualifying at 1300 BST. From the BBC1 F1 website.

Wow what a quali session that was, I really thought that the Red Bulls wouldn't be near the front of the grid. Well done to Webber that was one pole time and to Kubica too, fantastic.

Oh yes, I've been chatting to themagicwand about Renault over the past few races and we both agree that they will come good this season.
Alonso a prat......... well yes! But I'll forgive him, I am looking forward to seeing what he can do tomorrow - damage limitation.
I believe Massa and his engineer where getting cosy again!
