If you look at the Red team...they have something unusual on the outside of their left driver glove. It appears to be a magnet that they touch on the left side of the williepit during high speed straight line runs.
This appears to be a "switch" that stalls the rear wing by turning on their F duct system. This may be annoying after a while for the drivers...you would think that it would be automated.
Kewl. Just wait until the Red Bull guys get it, and perfect it.
Watch the inboard shots to see it.

Its a pad on the glove which closes a hole thus altering the air flow and gives better straight line speed, At times yesterday they showed Alonso using it and also setting things with his right hand, at times he had no fingers on the wheel

LOL at williepit...it's one of them words that proboards has put a censor on.
Try it like this cokcpit...
Wonder if that will work...

Silly censorship fiz by proboards. I'm not blaming you...but you must admit it's amusing.
What does a pilot sit in? A cokcpit.
OK, what is the politically correct name? We are not allowed to call terrorist "jihadist" over here any more. It's Politically Incorrect.
Should we call them "unfreindly people from another region of the world in a bad mood?" This is rediculous.

Well it's made me chuckle.
I am glad the F duct is to be banned though! Should never have been allowed in the first place.
