In the upcoming week the Formula One teams will split themselves between the tracks of Jerez and Bahrain to continue their preparations for the 2009 season. The only F1 teams who won't be testing this week are Honda (searching a buyer) and Force India (car unfinished).
The F1 teams Toyota, Ferrari and BMW Sauber travelled to Bahrain this weekend for a four-day test at the Bahrain International Circuit. The teams will begin their preparations for the upcoming season on Tuesday. The other F1 teams, McLaren, Williams, Renault, Red Bull and Toro Rosso, will start testing on Monday morning at Jerez.
With the many interrupted test sessions this winter the test in Jerez could be a bit of a risk if the test will take place in the wet again. In Bahrain a rain shower is extremely rare and thus Toyota, Ferrari and BMW have the luxury of perfect weather conditions. In Jerez there is rain expected on Tuesday while Monday and Wednesday are expected to be clouded.
will keep you updated from Jerez and Bahrain from Monday to Friday with reports.
