Hello all F1 Fans!!!!!
The F1 circus is in Australia at Melbourne this weekend for the 2nd round of the season. Not only is the Australian Grand Prix on at a slightly inconvenient time on Sunday if you are in the UK, but the clocks rather inconveniently change too, so it's going to take a bit of effort to figure out when it's all happening down under this weekend on the tv. Firstly, remember that the clocks go forward one hour on Sunday.
So here goes:
The practice sessions are shown on BBC Red Button and via the their website at these times:
Friday Practice 1 01.30 until 03.00 (that is in the morning folks)
Friday Practice 2 05.30 until 07.00 (ideal before work viewing?)
Saturday Practice 3 03.00 until 04.00 (bloomin early for a Saturday)
And then it is the main show for the all important qualifying and then the big race at these times:
Saturday Qualifying : 6am
Sunday Grand Prix: 7am
Last years pole time was set by Jenson Button with a time of 1:26.202
Various sites are reporting there will be light rain all weekend so this may have an impact on our GTP times.
