During the cold, dark, motorsport bereft days of winter I have been watching "Race Car Driver" on Dave. If you haven't seen it this is a couple of years old and follows a team in the Cart championship. It featured Seb Bourdais before he came over to F1, and had I seen the series before last season I wouldn't have been so surprised that he and Vettel brought STR up to and beyond the performance of RBR.
What interested me was seeing Justin Wilson, former pay driver for Minardi, and Kiki Di Matta, former Minardi also ran. I know that JPM, and I believe Scott Speed also, is in NASCAR, but what of the others?
So who knows where they are, the has-beens, almost-weres and never-quite-made-its of F1? The fact that there are so many is testament to F1's standing at the top, with the money involved teams develop a low tolerance of failure (relative to the team's performance level, Ferrari want wins, Force India want consistently finishing), but what kindly shelters have taken in these abandoned strays?
Remember, here at the drivers' trust we never put a healthy driver down, and with your support we can give more drivers like Di Matta a new home.

Jacques Villineuve tried Napcar to no avail. Last I heard he's trying V8 Supercars down under. Justin Wilson was recently cut by Newnam Haas in ICS. He's searching for a ride at the moment.

Pardon my spelling. I meant 'Villeneuve' and 'Newman'.
