Future US Grands Prix

Here is a link from last Sunday's TV show "Wind Tunnel" (SpeedTV-US) wherein Nick Craw says that USF1 has paid their hefty 2010 F1 entrance fee and also that any near-term US Grand Prix would likely be staged on a street circuit. Enjoy!

Why cant they have a race in Detroit (Belle Isle?)
We fixed up this venue, new runoff, new paddocks, new grandstands. It's acually pretty good, and should be given a chance.

Belle Isle is a nice circuit, I've watched Indy Cars race there in recent years. I suspect the citizens of Detroit would riot if the city paid Bernie any money to host a race there. From what I hear and read, the Motor City is in pretty tough times with the current economic climate.
