Finally.....at last..... himself is offski! The FIA will elect its new president on Friday, with either Jean Todt or Ari Vatanen poised to take over as Max Mosley's successor. Yippeeeeeeeeeee.......... fizzy (hastily apologises to any MM fans out there....there must be one or two )

Although most of us will not miss Mad Max, we should not overlook what he has done for Formula One, but mainly his pushing of safer regulations, which have unboubtedly saved lives across the FIA sanctioned spectrum. He has made some dicisions and carried out actions which may be brought into question, but this controversial leader will be missed to a certain degree.
