This made me chuckle this morning.... poor Lewis 
Lewis Hamilton was left red-faced after a present mix-up with his girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger.
Formula One champion Lewis turned up at the 02 in London to see Nicole perform with the girl thingycat Dolls and was thanked with a huge kiss for his gift of 50 red roses and a diamond necklace worth £100,000, according to The Sun newspaper.
But the gifts were not from 24-year-old Lewis.
The pricey items had actually come from a male member of the Saudi Arabian royal family.
A source told The Sun: "It was all a bit awkward for Lewis. He showed up and got an almighty embrace from Nicole to thank him for his gift.
"He had got her a pressie but it was something pretty simple and he seemed a bit baffled by her overreaction.
"It soon became clear she thought the diamonds and the roses were from him, especially when she opened the card.
"They both saw the funny side - but Lewis will be upping his efforts next time."
