Hey there, omg what an evening i have had. Downloading a bit of music and dam! i get a virus which i cant seem to be able to get rid of. its called backdoor.tidserv and is a trojan virus. i have run a scan etc but its still on my pc. have also tried to deleted the info from the registery but its not there. Im tired and stressed lol, so if anyone has any ideas i would be so greatful.

Avast is great. I have it,too. Plus there's a free download. I also run MBAM which is anti-malware. Both free and easy to install. Believe me, I'm a moron and I did it!

Thanks for the info guys. it was reccomended that i download malwarebytes and it worked thank god, i was freaking out so much, im such a drama king lol. Thank you again for the info, ill look into avast, you can never be too safe.
