Hello all F1 Fans!!!!!

Congratulations to

Barman

who was the Great Britain winner of GTP
and came within 0.029 of the actual pole time.
A very good guess indeed Barman! ;D

Barman is the currently the leader of the GTP Leaderboard with 29 points, in 2nd place is Ace with 28 points and Kimi's fans in 3rd with 25 points. GTP is still so so close. One good guess can take you to the top of the Leaderboard as it did Barman!! ;D

Now on to the 9th race of the season, Nurburgring in Germany. Lewis Hamilton took a storming pole last season in Hockenheim with a time of 1:15.666, Kimi Raikkonen took pole at the Nurburgring for Ferrari in 2007 with a time of 1:31.450. But no doubt the Brawns of Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello will be looking to find their real form again and will be gunning for this win. As there are no less than 5 German drivers racing this season, all will be pushing real hard to try and grab a podium place. As always keep an eye out for the weather forecast.

Remember folks- that time forGermany, last year, was at Hockenheim. This year it's at Neurburgring! Yes- I'm at it again!

Hockenheimring is 4.574 km (2.842 miles) and this years race is at the neurburgring- 5.148km (3.2 miles).

So add a bit of time, folks, before figuring your estimates.

no wonder I wasn't getting close to last years time. I thought the 2 distances were actually closer than they are.

Have amended the GTP reminder

Kimi Raikkonen took pole at the Nurburgring for Ferrari in 2007 with a time of 1:31.450.

It may be a wet qualis so the forecast from yahoo weather say

Eifel is the closest place I can find to the Nurburgring

Okay I see the battleship linig up it's gun to blow me out of the water again- so here's my guess- 1:32.583 if no rain plus maybe some grip problems. the captain of the battleship just radioed and asked if I had any cigarettes.

Quali 2- Rubens first, but, Holy Cow! ;D 1:34? Faster Boys! don't make us look bad! I didn't think they'd be this slow! and Vettel and Nakajima colliding in the pits? Probably a bit of sheepishness at dinner (Baa-aa-aa)

;D WOO-HOO!!! Mark Webber on pole, 1:31.257, Rubens 2nd ;D, Jensen 3rd , Vettel 4th - so Red Bull, Brawn, Brawn, Red Bull, and Mclaren for row 3 If it rains, lewis could have a chance! As long as it's not Jensen, I'll be happy. I want competition for championship!!

I would have been 7th in real life.

now let's see how acurate the captain of the battleship was! I just hope it isn't the Potemkin(?).
