Firstly BE says on national tv today that if Donington aint ready the Silverstone can host the BGP next year...Hoping FOTA gives 2 fingers to BE and says they will be be there. BE hates Silverstone....fact... BE said on friday when asked about the breakaway series to "Ask Max"
then
Max Mosley, the controversial FIA-President, has dropped any legal action against the eight rebel teams, saying he´d rather talk than take legal action. This could mean that if a compromise is reached, a breakaway series might not be a reality after all.
"There won't be any writ. I think we would rather talk than litigate," Mosley said at Silverstone today. Earlier this weekend, he dismissed the FOTA principals, saying things like "Flavio Briatore is a loonie," but now he is stating that there is actually very little the teams and the FIA is not already agreed on. So he invited the disgruntled rebel teams to "sit down and iron out the last few difficulties."
"It's definitely getting better - but these things take time," he explained. "The problem is we have eight teams and some want to sit down, some don't. No doubt, eventually they all will."
And Martin Whitmarsh, principal of McLaren-Mercedes said, that by July the preparations for the new series would be too far advanced, so time is of the essense, Mosley agreed.
"If this goes on for any length of time, it damages the teams. It doesn't affect the FIA, it damages the teams because it affects their sponsors," said Mosley.
Also MM said today on TV when asked who is the leading person behind the breakaway he said Flavio.. that right or not??
