Le Mans 2009

Did anyone watch the Le Mans 24 Hours this year? Was a pretty good race, and Peugeot finally won. Great drive from the winning line up of David Brabham, Alex Wurz (his second win) and Marc Gene (spain's first win).

They were followed home by Sebastian Bourdaise, Stefan Serrazin and Franck Montagny in another Peugeot. I do think they should have won, had arguably the fastest car throughout the race but had problems early on but still a great second place finish.

Worth a note that all of these drivers have raced in Formula One, although none won a grand prix.

I was watching British Touring Cars instead ;D

In between the BTCC races ITV4 shown the last 20mins or so. Crazy weather for the last race of BTCC, hoping for rain this weekend .

There was so much racing this weekend past, Motogp, BTCC, Nascar and Le Mans, loved it all. If anyone watched the Motogp race, how amazing was that finish, could hardly control myself, and that crazy end to the 125cc race. That third race at Croft for the BTCC was awful. They should have called it a day during that safety car period, that was proven after they went green, bad shunt for Pinkney. But hey, thats racing, gotta love it.
