So Monaco is over and Jensen wins again! At formula1.com, they have "selected driver's quotes". rubens tried to give another excuse- "I followed so close behind and my tires were graining, so it affected my time." C'mon, rubens- do you really need to put up with this?! with 7 laps to go, he was trailing Jensen by 12.5 seconds- but he finished only 7.6 seconds back. what might have happened if he ha gotten around the ferraris a bit sooner? But- at least my man, sedastien Bourdais, got 8th in his first Monaco Grand Prix! Congrats, seabass! ;D

Well the reason why Jenson won over Rubens was because he nursed his super soft tyres much better than Rubens did. Jenson built up a 16 second lead which he maintained after the first round of stops. And in all fairness, Rubens wasn't behinf the Ferrari's for long, certainly not enough time to lose him the race, that was already gone. At the end Jenson was coasting home, which is general practise, hense he lost that time.
Don't worry, Rubens time will come, its just a matter of time.

How come the podium was not the normal podium with the concrete steps and the big columns on either side? It was just a makeshift erected plastic tent! And how come Button didn't have the savvy to park at the makeshift tent.. where he should have parked up?? fizzy

Good show Jenson, a well deserved win. The last race at Spain was a bit suspect, as they changed poor Ruben's strategy to a 3 stopper at the last minute which eliminated him from the top step.
Ruben was a good sport about it, knowing his place on the team. (sounds of old Ferrari tactics)
I'm not trying to start a fight, but Jens didn't park in "parc ferme" at the end of Monaco and ran down the street to celebrate. Is this allowed in F1 rules? I thought they must park where the stewards are, so they can keep an eye on the car.
Maybe I should shut up before a contravercy erupts. Good show Jenson. Don't mean to stir the pot, just an observation.

Ah, Gizzy! I'll take any controversy you start over the ones going on now. Why didn't the marshalls stop him from going into the pit lane- maybe they aren't used to seeing the white and yellow car.

Brawn looks unstoppable now. Every type of track, whatever the weather is.
Lapping McLaren...with the same engine. Whats up with that?

Speaking of controversy....Mr Massa cut the chicane more than once and was warned about it. I don't really think any action is needed...but what is the penalty for this infraction?
It was really close to bending the rules. 3 wheels over the curb is OK, 4 is bad. It looked like 3.9 wheels were over the curb...that's cutting it close.

I'm not so sure BrawnGP (is) unstoppable! They have a really big test coming up next at Istanbul. I think this will be the first track where the KERS system will really be effective- very fast track 3 long straights (start/finish, straight-away after the 8-11 combination, and the run after the chicane following that straight), along with- it appears- that Ferrari might be finally getting their act together. However, Jensen (as driver), and BrawnGP (as team) have such big point leads already that they may have a big enough cushion to withstand the hard charges that are sure to come with the more "wide-open" tracks like Turkey, Nurburgring, Silverstone, Spa, and Monza!

Congrats to Jenson for his victory in Monaco. Unless something huge happens, this is Jensons year. I wont be surprised if he gets the title 3 or 4 races before the last GP. Besides Red Bull, I think the rest of the teams are looking foward the next season and not this one. THey will limit theirselves to win the most amout of points 'cause Brawn is in a different galaxy. Good for them..if your face Bernie!!! LOL!!

actually im not please to see brawn to dominate the races as sch+ferrari last time did. i just make F1 become boring to watch.
(another thing...tot the new aero rules should make cars easy to over taking?i dun even see much of it?!!after 5 races.... really disappointed.........;-(.......)
hopefully next race, redbull, ferrari or any other teams can fight back and give us some real fight.
