Sebastian Vettel delivered Red Bull Racing its first Formula 1 pole position with a brilliant last-gasp lap in China, as Jenson Button and Brawn GP’s early stranglehold on the 2009 season was shattered in qualifying.
Completing a new-look order at the head of the field was, totally unexpectedly, Fernando Alonso – Renault’s fortunes seemingly transformed by the introduction of an interim diffuser from Saturday morning’s final practice onwards.

Interesting Piquet is not running the updated diffuser that was kindly planted into Alonso's rear end. Reckon Alonso is so light so to be able to scadoodle past Vettel as Alonso is rather good at starts and Vettel maybe not quite so good? fizzy btw...blacktulip - you have a great holiday

Have fun blacktulip I don't think it would make much difference if they put the diffuser on Piquet's car or even if the decided to install a twin turbo with NOS for that matter..Flavio wanted to hire Jenson, that means he wasn't really counting on the Junior for this year.

i think its a shame for Piquet, as hes never really been given a good chance to shine, and its seems Flav has almost written him off this season too.
hope you have a good time blacktulip, make the most of it.
