Ferrari is the first Formula One team to ditch the problematic KERS energy-boost system, electing not to use it for this weekend's Chinese Grand Prix.
So with the excess weight off the car, it will be interesting to see how much faster it is.

Interesting! It didn't seem to be doing them many favours in the car, so I am fascinated to see the comparison. I bet the other teams are keeping a close watch too.

I would have thought they would have kept it for this race anyway as it would help them on the straights, get some good speed from it and maybe pinch a couple of places. So unless they manage to gain some good top speed from somewhere, without it i think they are just going to go backwards.
