SOh Please let it be on the internet. Jackie has been my number 1 hero since I was 17 ( now 51) years old. I'd be in hog heaven.

They played "the flying scot" a year or two ago on speed in the us. good show! nice race coverage from the 60's and early 70's. you can tell that sir jackie was really shook up about the loss of his great friend, francois cevert at watkins glenn. it shook him hard, and made him retire early in my opinion. afterwards, jackie headed up a major push towards many safety improvements in f1, to save drivers from this fate. here is a cool vid with sir jackie that i posted a while ago...sorry for the repeat. if you look closely you can see a tyrrell 6 wheeler in the opening sequence and a few other scenes. kewl! www.youtube.com/watch?v=jMm4bhs6GYY&feature=player_embedded

I'f I'm not mistaken, there are also a couple of black "Shadows" in this vid. Beautiful sleek designs. Who said there was never a half way decent US car in F1? Rock on USF1 or USGPE or whatever they are called for next year. -giz

USGPE. Also, the song "Faster" by George Harrison- a BIG supporter of F1.
