Mercedes engines finished 1st, 2nd and 3rd today. Got me thinking, when was the last time a single engine supplier swept the podium. I think it last happened at the Biritsh gp in 1987, when Honda powered cars swept the first four places, Mansell in first, followed by Piquet, Senna and Nakajima. I amy be wrong but that rings a bell.
How many times has it happened in the history of F1 though. It must be a fair few times, so it may be a silly question. Of course the Alfa's in the early 50's were dominant, and not forgetting the Ford DFV that ruled the roost for all those years. Im going to take a guess at, say, 20 times, i dont know if thats conservative or not, but its a guess lol.
