Yeah, The plug has finally been pulled on for the identity of the Stig. It wasn't a really well kept secret tho, I knew who it was ages ago  So who to replace the Stig? And what colour overalls will he have next? How about Danica Patrick and pink overalls?  fizzy |

The youtube vid I saw has direct comparisons with Ben Collins and the stig...the voice is the same...........it's so obvious.......
But I have another very reliable source also as to who the Stig is....

Just spotted this! Me as the Stig! My helmet and suit don't match (White helmet with the rest in Black! so I'd have to be a crossbreed Stig!  I'd be surprised if they bother replacing Ben as the Stig as its been pretty well known for a few years now that he's the regular Stig. There are others though that get used occasionally depending on availability/circumstances. Also occasionally a cars owner has driven a car as the Stig. On many of the times when F1 cars have been featured being driven by the Stig, one of the teams test drivers have been used. |

Marc - stp you are shattering all my illusions about the stig LOL - I didn't know for sure who he was but it was nice to have the mystery! I think it would be fun if you did do it though |

I arranged a small karting meet last november and I was going to get one of the Stig's to come along in character as I have a mae who knows him but unfortunately he couldn't make the date! It would have been brilliant to see peoples faces when they saw they were going to race the stig! Maybe this year if I do another one.
