I've just had a thought. When you submit a posting/message on this new site, you are able to modify that post so therefore when you submit your GTP guess on this site, technically you are able to amend that guess. (This, wasn't possible on the old site to modify a post) With me so far? So, I don't see why anyone should not amend their guess on this GTP site as long as it is done before the start of Qualifying. All messages have the time of posting/modifying so it will be easy to see that the guesses are within the GTP time limit. I cannot stop anyone from amending a guess or any post. And technically an amended/modified guess is still only one guess per person. But.. Submitting your guess via guess_the_pole@hotmail. com will remain unchanged. One email per person only to the inbox there. (Unless a valid and genuine error as has happened previously) One guess per person rule does not change. Hoping this makes perfect sense, any questions please fire away fizzy

So is that emails only? which would make sense if you can modify your posts. It may save some issues that could come up.

All GTP'ers
It can't be emails only as sometimes hotmail has "issues" and won't send, doesn't receive etc.
Posting a guess on the message board came up with a solution to this. One can see that their guess is actually there (so if this way works for you then thats great) so resolved any hotmail issues.
Also, several times in past GTPs, at the end of the season, GTP has been very close in points between players. I have fallen foul, as have others, of "tactics" with guesses. Email is the option for a player to be confidant there will not be any "tactics" employed.
So it has to be both email and message board for submitting your guess.
