Peeps Does anyone have any thoughts on how to make our new site better?  What other features would you like to see? Perhaps an "Off Topic" board to test features of the site or to chit chat with other members? Or a group email address so all could email the managers if need be? Thoughts please and any ideas welcomed  Looking forward to replies.... fizzy |

Firstly hello people, was worried a place wouldn't be founf for us to migrate to.
Well perhaps a little colour to start with.
A stars of tomorrow section may be nice too, just to highlight up and coming drivers from karting and the juniour formula.
Hmm what else........i can't think, the group lives on so i am kind of happy with that

is it possible to have a technical side of the forum for top posters of the techies to explain some of the rule changes i honestly am not an it person or an engineer just an american fan whose been a schumi fan since benetton and got bit by the bug but some sites dont put the tech specs in lamens terms so im honestly confused at some things..
IMHO would be great for the new people starting out to get into f1 or maybe ive missed those threads...

Could we get a time clock for the first race to start,if i say i click to stay on for 15 minutes.Do i need to sign back in after 15 Minutes?
The top 10 hosts should be the only poster's for the first week or so.Maybe just a dumb idea i got .sorry.I will try not to use the big letter's.

Cyberjunkie's idea is good. I second that. On MSN I favorited the site and when I clicked on it I was automatically signed on and could post my drivel. If that feature is available here I haven't noticed it and would suggest that auto login be included. Someone please reply if it's on here and where it can be found. Thanks. Overall, let's not sweat the small stuff. It's only day three and it will take a while to put this site through its paces. It's going well already. We can make suggestions for the next 100 years if necessary. Unlike MSN Groups, there doesn't appear to be an expiration date on this site.

It looks as though we are going to have a lot of new colour combinations this season - can we have a handy recognition guide to teams and drivers - I know it will be on the team and driver sites but that page in the official guide showing the liveries together is just so helpful!

There is an auto log in. When you log in there is a linky drop down bit that allows you to choose how long you want to be logged in for. I chose the "forever" option and so am directed to the homepage automatically so I can post my drivel too

Fizzy. I have opened a site for people to just practice stuff in with Proboard. Any Admin on MSN groups I have made up to Admin in there so they can do as they please.
All I ask is that you leave the default page alone, but you are free to check out stuff I have done to it so far.

We already have one of the imrpvements MSN needed, the ability to edit your messages!  Boards for other motorsport would be good, BTCC etc. Plus maybe things like Motorsport Photography? |

Apparently you can only exalt or smit a person once every 24 hours. And Foxy, I exalted you, I think. |

While reading someone's post, on the left had side of their message you will see their name and maybe some personal information if they felt comfortable revealing it.
In that area, you will aslo see links to Smite or Exalt.
Exalting someone is like giving them a kudos or a pat on the back. When someone gets exalted, they will have some "karma" added under their name. Feel free to exalt all of your fellow guildies at one point or another. We are, after all, friends here...
You can not exalt or smite yourself.
Smiting means you are taking away some of their "karma"
It's all in fun, and if you have been smited it doesn't mean noone likes you, but please be courteous of others' feelings as well. Again, we are all friends here.
Keep in mind that you can only smite or exalt ONE member per hour. Do you really want to spend all your energy smiting your friends when you could be adding to their karma?

Here's my idea - a gallery to post F1/racing/petrolhead pics. Of course that will require using a picture hosting site to act as holding for the url links but i'm sure we could organise that. There are many free ones to choose from.

A picture gallery! That is such a good idea. many peeps have photbucket a/cs and those pics are transferable to this site. You could create your own album and put all your own personal pics innit to share! Watch this space! All ideas have been noted indeedy fizzy |

A gallery is a good plan... Photobucket indeed and Flickr. How about a "Suggestions" sub-board, so everything mentioned in this thread could be split up into different threads within, for people to suggest anything to do with msn formula 1 racing proboard? |
