;DHRT do not appear on the 2013 F1 entry list published by the FIA. The deadline for entries to the 2013 F1 season passed yesterday. HRT was put up for sale last month.
The list does not include the identities of Sauber, Toro Rosso or Caterham’s drivers, though most of these have been confirmed by the teams. Force India and Marussia’s drivers are listed as yet to be confirmed, as is the identity of Kimi Raikkonen’s team mate at Lotus. ;D It also indicates that Nico Rosberg will use the number nine at Mercedes next year and new team mate Lewis Hamilton’s car will bear the number ten

Pallisades, New Jersey US has been moved from 2013 to 2014. This leaves an opening in the 2013 calender. Read that an additional European GP will fill the calender; location, unknown. Could it be Jerez, Spain? The new track at Russia and maybe an old or new track in Mexico are on the horizon. Turkey is possibly on the chopping block.
SPEEDtv is done in the US...moving to NBC next year. A few of the old commentators are moving over to the new network, no Dave Varsha.

RIP SPEEDtv in the US for F1 coverage. I think they did a pretty good job. I'm wary of NBC coverage... where can I pick up live streaming F1 on the internet?
Speed is too concentrated on NASCAR... oh well it's history now.

Formula One has too many teams for Ecclestone (Reuters) “I’d rather have ten. I never wanted twelve. It’s just that ten is easier to handle, for the promoters, for transport. We’d rather have ten… so long as we don’t lose Ferrari.”

I was hoping for the NJGP in 2013 because it would be a home GP for me. But I can wait until 2014. And that's Bob Varsha.

Max Chilton has become Formula 1's fourth British driver after signing to drive for Marussia next season, it has been confirmed.
The move was revealed by BBC Formula 1 chief analyst Eddie Jordan on Monday.
Chilton, 21, was the team's reserve driver and impressed bosses with his speed and ability to set up the car.
"It's hard to put into words how I'm feeling today," Chilton said. "It comes at the end of what has been a fantastic year for me."
Chilton joins fellow British drivers Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button, who drive for Mercedes and McLaren respectively, and Force India's Paul di Resta in the sport.
