I didn't like their article from September 2012 called "Light Speed".
Apparently, they don't know much about F1 history, so I shot them an editorial comment.
In your September 2012 article on efficient race cars called "Light Speed" there was an error. On page 37, there was a quote about "electronic aids such as active suspension contributed to the death of F1 Icon Aryton Senna"
As a long time fan of Formula 1 racing since 1975, this is not correct. Mr Senna died in 1994, after active suspension and traction control were banned at the end of the 1993 season. If active suspension was still allowed in 1994, he would have most likely never had this deadly accident. His car bottomed out at the entrance of Tamburrello curve at Imola causing a hard impact into the wall. Active suspension would have created a gap between the bottom of the car and the track.
The banning of these technologies made F1 less safe, instead of safer.
