Greetings F1 Race Fans!
Time to Guess The Pole!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Finally after a 3 week hiatus,
the F1 Circus is in China at the Shanghai International Circuit.

Last year's pole sitter was Sebastian Vettle with a time of 1:33.706.
However, Lewis Hamilton was the eventual winner after starting third.
With Red Bull having a hard time out of the gate this year, now all eyes look upon Mercedes. Gizzy posted in our forum about Mercedes and their 'F-Duct' front wing. Thanks Gizzy! As professional engineers, Mercedes finds another gray area to exploit and capitalize upon to give Mercedes an edge.
And that's one reason why I love F1. Original thinking and design.
Not cookie cutter race cars that conform to a plate.
Don't get me started. LOL!!!
As for the weather, I found this neat website which will also show you the local time in Shanghai, plus there is a time converter. Just like my previous reminder, I will not be posting any Quali or practice times.

Anyone can submit a guess, so forward this email to a friend.
Now the red tape. All guesses must be submitted to the GTP email addy
guess_the_pole@hotmail.com or posted on the F1 GTP forum.

All guesses must be submitted prior to the beginning of qualifying...day, date or time are subject to your own location. Only guesses sent to the GTP forum may be edited. Email guesses are final. Any entries received after the start of qualifying will not be honored.
The remaining GTP rules are found here:

Questions and such will be answered as soon as possible.
Reply to this forum thread...easy!
Best of luck,
Leon, Fizzy & Susie
