There was a bunch of wrangling, arguing, whining and whatever you want to call it...but this race is now on again!
The city council of Austin, after promising a big support of dough to Bernie backed out at the last minute. Seems the promoters were then 30 million short.
I don't know what deals were agreed to, but somehow the contract was signed. Construction had stopped, everything was in limbo.
Heavy equipment is now doing a bang up job to make up for lost time. Ticket sales will be announced very soon.
Texas construction workers will kick ass to make it happen, they are tough as nails. Good news!
