While engineers have previously been able to use the predecessor as a basis for designing their new car, this time they were faced with a blank page or a black computer screen. The aerodynamics specialists invested a lot of time in developing the front wing, paying particular attention to the way it interacted with the underbody. I have to say that I am liking the new crop of cars this year. They have a very sleek look to them. It will be interesting to see what they are like out on the track though!
