The new Formula One season is being threatened by a fresh row and potential protest before a wheel has turned in Melbourne.
The latest turmoil surrounds the design of the rear diffuser on the cars belonging to Williams and Toyota, and most notably, Brawn GP.

Renault boss Flavio Briatore recently voiced his concerns, with his sentiments echoed earlier this week by Ferrari team principal Stefano Domenicali.
"We are convinced that certain interpretations that have been applied do not correspond to the nature of the rules," said Domenicali.
In other words they are scared they get beaten by the new boys, I hope Button wins and they all have the sulks
If their Tech departments were on the ball they would be doing the same thing instead of moaning about better technology

Toyota, Williams and Brawn GP have all been cleared to race in this weekend's Australian Grand Prix after the FIA threw out the protest made by three of their Formula One rivals.
Ferrari, Renault and Red Bull claimed the other teams had failed to adhere to the regulations regarding the design of their diffuser, a key aerodynamic component which governs the airflow beneath a car, but after a six-hour hearing, the stewards presiding over Sunday's Australian Grand Prix - Radovan Novak, Steve Chopping and Olafur Gudmundsson - rejected the complaint.
However, within minutes, Ferrari, Renault and Red Bull confirmed notice of their intention to appeal the stewards' decision.

Thumbs up to Brawn and Button, what a good race, the best ever result for a rookie team.
I am starting to wonder, is that an army tank coz Rubens said he was hit twice, and the car is still running enormously well.
